Maroon Dam in Khuzestan province has an important role in regional water supply. Therefore, accurate estimation of inflow discharge to this dam in the coming years will have an important role in water resources planning. In the present study 41 years (1968 to 2009) of annual discharge of Idanak hydrometric station which is located on the Maroon River were used. Different models such as the autoregressive (AR), autoregressive moving average (ARMA) and contemporaneous autoregressive moving average (CARMA) were fitted to data. After performance of necessary tests, CARMA (1,1) model with the least Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Schwarz Information Criterion (SIC) has been known suitable. According to final selected of best model the artificial inflow discharge to Maroon Reservoir is produced, and the results are presented in this research.
