The paucity of data on temporal variation of sediment yield on storm basis is one of the fundamental problems for water resources projects and watershed management. However, comprehensive study on sedigraph has been rarely considered. The present study has been therefore conducted to analyze sediment graphs in Khamsan Representative Watershed with an area of 4193 ha in Kurdistan Province, Iran. For this purpose, 4 effective storm events occurred during study period were analyzed. Towards this attempt, suspended sediment samples, rainfall and runoff data were collected with respective to intervals of 60, 10 and 30 min. The conceptual analyses of collected data verified the general dependency of sedigraph from hydrograph and hyetograph and from time to peak of hydrograph.
