The Journal of Iranian Water Research as one of the oldest journals in water engineering was introduced in 2007 with the aim of publishing and informing the scientific community of the latest research conducted in this field. Since its establishment, this journal has continuously published articles on the topics of water resources management and exploitation, irrigation and drainage, drought, environment, groundwater, wastewater use, pollution and water quality and other related fields. During this relatively long period, publishing quality articles in scientific and literary terms in the shortest possible time has always been the priority of the editors and editorial board of the journal. The type of review in this journal is two-way anonymous and the names of the authors and reviewers are confidential to each other. All articles submitted to the journal are checked for scientific violations using similarity detection software, and if violations are found, the article is returned to the author. There is no submission and review fee in this journal, and accepted articles are made available to researchers free of charge.
