In this article, to draw a zoning map of Borujen-Fradonbeh aquifer vulnerability using the DRASTIC method was used which is one of the most applied overlaping methods. Zoning map of aquifer vulnerability integrated into raster maps of seven DRASTIC parameters (ground water depth, recharge, aquifers environment, soil environment, topography, hydraulic conductivity and unsaturated zone environment) In GIS environment showed that DRASTIC indexes range varies between ?? and ???. It also discovers that ??, ??, ? and ?? percent of the average surface area are substantial, low, medium, high and very high vulnerable respectively. Rating and weight DRASTIC parameters were computed using the relationships between each parameter and the nitrate concentration in the groundwater. The correlation coefficient between measured nitrate concentrations and corresponding vulnerability ratings increased from ?.?? to ?.?? by optimizing the layer weights. The final map showed that about ??, ??, ?? and ?? percent of the average basin surface area has are low, medium, high and very high respectively.
